Alfred Kouris

Alfred Kouris is a Sydney-based actor and recent graduate of the BFA Acting program at NIDA. During his time at NIDA, he performed in The Life That I Gave You, Mr Burns: A Post-Electric Play, REVOLT. SHE SAID. REVOLT AGAIN., The Cherry Orchard, and The Master and Margarita.


Alfred featured in the verbatim theatre piece Our Blood Runs in the Street, directed by Shane Anthony. He also played Humpty Dumpty in Alice in Wonderland with the Australian Theatre Company and appeared as Head Chief Rabbit in The Wind in the Willows with the Australian Shakespeare Company.

Most recently, Alfred performed as Aleksandr Ignatyevich Vershinin in The Three Sisters with Last Waltz Productions and co-created and starred in Bake a Cake alongside Harry Stacey, presented by Irregular Programming at the Old Fitz Theatre. The production received critical acclaim, further establishing Alfred as an exciting emerging voice in Australian theatre.

Alfred continues to develop new work as both a performer and creator across stage and screen.
