

Angela Kennedy
Angela Kennedy has worked across all mediums in Australia. Theatre highlights
include critically acclaimed ‘Trevor’ for Melbourne’s Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre,
Lady Chatterley in ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ and more recently, the new Australian
black comedy ‘Beautiful Highness’. Musicals include ‘How To Succeed in Business
Without Really Trying’ (GFO), ‘Annie’ (GFO), ‘Chang and Eng’ (Action Theatre
Singapore), ‘Breast Wishes’ (Neil Gooding Productions) and as original cast in the
Australian productions of ‘Mamma Mia!’ (Littlestar), ‘Come From Away’ (Junkyard
Dogs/New Theatricals) and ‘Strictly Ballroom The Musical’ (Global Creatures)
directed by Baz Luhrmann. On television, Angela was a regular in ‘Sons and
Daughters’ playing Ginny Doyle and has guest starred in numerous Australian dramas
including ‘GP’, ‘Home and Away’, ‘The Re-Trial of Ned Kelly’, ‘Richmond Hill’,
’Blue Heelers’, ‘Good Guys Bad Guys’ (AFI award Best Direction-Brendan Maher),
‘All Saints’, ’Packed To The Rafters’ and ‘The Dr Blake Mysteries’. Film credits
include ‘Breaking Loose’, ‘The Wicked’, AFI nominated short ‘Suburbia’ and as a
voice artist on ‘Mission Impossible II’ and ‘Australia’.
