
Brendan Monger
Originally from Canberra, Brendan is a WAAPA graduate (BA in Musical Theatre) with over three decades of experience across stage, screen, and music. His career spans acting, singing, composing, directing, and musical direction, with credits in theatre, television, cabaret, and film.

On stage, Brendan has appeared in Urinetown (STC/MTC), Easter Parade (GFO), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Taming of the Shrew, The Seagull, Grand Hotel, Sweeney Todd, and Little Shop of Horrors. His screen work includes guest roles in All Saints, Home & Away, Backberner, Chaser, and Behind the Scenes with Tony Squires, along with the feature film The Oyster Farmer.

As a composer and lyricist, Brendan has written original scores for stage, screen, and radio, and is the creator of the new Australian musical Unfinished Business. He has also taught and directed at leading institutions including WAAPA, ATYP, ACTT, and The Actor’s Centre.
