

Charles Mayer
Charles Mayer is an actor and voice actor who graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with BA(Hons) Acting. Hailing from the UK, Charles has worked internationally. He most recently appeared as Dr Taylor in Home and Away on 7, DCI Kilroy in North Shore for Paramount +, and is nominated for several best actor awards in international festivals for his performance in "I Am" directed by Marcus Graham during lockdown for AI Films, as well as in the short film ‘A Gentleman’s Agreement’, for which he was nominated for Best Male Performance at the South Australian Screen Awards. Other film credits include Rabbit, The Pack, August Watershed, The Old Mansion House, Shanghai Calling, Ip Man 2, Ghosts of Old Shanghai, Greys In Between and The Ultimate Truth. Television credits include Pine Gap, Gallipoli (Channel 9), The Lost Tools of Henry Hoke, Deadline Gallipoli (Foxtel), Wastelander Panda, ANZAC Girls (ABC), Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures, City Beat, Hotel Babylon and MI-5. Theatre credits include leads in The Tempest, Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream (for Come you Spirits), Richard the Third and Henry the Fourth Parts 1 and 2 (Live Streamed Shakespeare), The Taming of the Shrew and Richard The Third (at Pop-up Globe), The Popular Mechanicals, The 39 Steps and Othello for State Theatre Company of South Australia, and in independent productions of Albion, Romeo and Julien, Anatomy of a Suicide, The Last Time I Saw Richard, Man in a Bag, Orphans, I Am My Own Wife, No Exit, The Odd Couple, Art, Blithe Spirit, and debuting in the West End in 2006 in Bent. Currently Charlie is preparing to play a hilarious toff in The Artful Dodger S2.​
