James Mitry

James Mitry is a Sydney-based actor whose work spans film and television. He studied Screen Acting Techniques under Jon Batchelor at NIDA and holds a Juris Doctor law degree from the University of Sydney (2022). His screen credits include Stephen in the TV series Axmo Deus (2020), Maurice in the comedy feature Kick Ons (2018), and David in The Claire Wizard Thesis (2018).

Most recently, James portrayed Ahmed Al-Katab in the ABC documentary series Judgment: Cases That Changed Australia (2026) and Kalid in Kriv Stenders' feature film The Correspondent. His additional screen credits include Halal Gurls (2019–2020) and the short films Brainless Killers (2015) and To the Top! (2015).
