James Mitry

James Mitry is a Sydney-based actor whose work spans film and television. He studied Screen Acting Techniques under Jon Batchelor at NIDA and holds a Juris Doctor law degree from the University of Sydney (2022). His screen credits include Stephen in the TV series Axmo Deus (2020), Maurice in the comedy feature Kick Ons (2018), and David in The Claire Wizard Thesis (2018).

James has also appeared in Halal Gurls (2019–2020), as well as the short films Brainless Killers (2015) and To the Top! (2015). Most recently, he portrayed Kalid in Kriv Stenders’ feature film The Correspondent.

James has recently finished the role of Ahmed Al-Katab in The Big Bench.
