Lucy Green
Lucy Green is a Sydney-based actor, writer, and producer, who trained at the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles. A skilled dancer, MMA fighter, and stage combat artist, Lucy shifted her focus to writing during a challenging time in America leading up to the 2016 US election, when she was unable to vote. This period inspired her political comedy web series Blow Your Own Trumpet, endorsed by Elizabeth Banks and Whohaha, which gained attention for its satirical take on the Trump/Clinton election. In 2017, Lucy wrote and staged a full-length play about Lucille Ball at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
After returning to Australia, Lucy co-produced This Town Ain’t Big Enough For The Both of Us, a Flickerfest 2021 award winner, which went on the “Best of” National tour. She has also produced numerous screen and stage projects, including the award-winning short film Disarmed, which premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival in 2024, and the two-hander play An Intervention at the Old 505 Theatre.
Lucy’s acting credits span both the USA and Australia, with roles in notable stage and screen projects including Catching Milat (Channel 7), Cat in the Hat (Sydney Opera House), and Fangirls (Australian Theatre Company, LA).
She recently wrapped filming on Pickpockets, a feature film she co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in alongside D.C. Fairhurst, with Tim Minchin and Zoe Terakes. Pickpockets is set to be released in early 2026.
