Peter (PJ) Williams

PJ is an award-winning actor, director, and voice artist based in Canberra. His accolades

include the 2008 MEAA Actors Equity Award for Professional Practice, and Canberra Critics Circle Awards in 2016, 2018 (Faithful Servant, Diary of a Madman), and 2024 (Crime & Punishment). PJ’s theatre credits include Waiting for Godot, The Plan & Other Plans, Crime and Punishment, White Rabbit Red Rabbit, Twenty Minutes with the Devil, A Doll’s House – Part 2, and more. His television appearances include Home & Away, All Saints, Always Greener, and Tricky Business, along with various commercial roles.

Directing work includes Grimm & The Blue Crown Owl (opera), Laurie & Shirley (verse play), Lies, Love & Hitler, and War of The Worlds, with the upcoming production of Hansel & Gretel for the National Opera Company (2025). PJ is also a seasoned corporate role-play performer and a co-founder of ImproACT. He has served on the boards of the National Folk Festival (2013–2023) and The Street Theatre Canberra (2003–2007), and has been a proud MEAA member since 1989.
